    If possible, you will probably do better to use a WFS from
    mapserver. The reason is that as far as I'm aware, mapserver doesn't
    require the user to start the service before using it, while
    goeserver does.<br>

    If you do need to make use of geoserver, then ensure that you
    include "start geoserver" in the steps in the quickstart.<br>
