<p dir="ltr">This is how the GeoMoose project views announcing the next FOSS4G conference. As an OSGeo project we find it beneficial to both our project and OSGeo to raise awareness of the conference and of the other OSGeo projects.</p>
<p dir="ltr">OSGeo Live showcases quite a few of these projects and shows how both at a community/project level and software level we work together to build a greater ecosystem.</p>
<p dir="ltr">Personally, it makes sense to me for OSGeo Live as a project to support raising awareness of the primary international conference devoted to the projects and community that OSGeo Live showcases.</p>

I think we should set a minimum of the level of involvement from
conferences before they get mentioned. Probably either:
* Handing out OSGeo-Live USBs in a showbag or OSGeo booth and/or
* Using OSGeo-Live in workshop(s)
* Presenting the OSGeo-Live presentation within a plenary session
If a conference just provides an OSGeo-Live presentation within the
program, it that enough to get a mention?
I think that mentioning OSGeo-Live as part of a presentation is not enough
to get a mention.
