One of the objectives I had in mind was to ensure the core community  
(developers and most active contributors) could have some good  
quality time working together in person. I just mention this because  
I know that it is something the developers have trouble doing at  
FOSS4G due to their time spent interacting with the many users of the  
software ... (very important stuff for sure) but I hope we can find a  
way to be sensitive to that need of separating the important software  
development activities and discussions that take place when  
development teams are together vs. broader workshops / presentations  
etc... for users.
