[Ottawa_users] Meetup - November 20

I've got the kids tonight, so I won't be out.  

I enjoyed Vision Géomatique last week, and was very happy with GIS Day yesterday at Carleton.  Thanks to Christy and Javed for bringing an OSGEO booth presence, and to Regie for plugging OSGEO in his talk.  Christy built a great (of course!) demo map on my computer for all to see, showcasing the Ottawa area using QGIS and free data sources :)  Traffic seemed to be a little lighter this year than last year, but I made some great connections and learned about many neat things that other people have been doing.  And we exposed 200 high school students to the fun of geomatics!
