Hi All,

This is seriously a huge step forward that will be of great benefit for
.NET developers in the Pacific Islands region.

One major reason why I am excited about .NET Core being Open Source
(specifically for the GIS/RS community and the PICISOC Special Interest
Gourp (SIG)), is because some of us have been working on code that has
evolved over a 17 years period that can be finally forked over a cross
platform .NET that will run not only on Windows but on Linux, Mac, iOS and
Android.

More interesting read here:

A great a safe week-end to yall.

cheers,

Ed
