I believe the momentum now is for the upcoming FOSS4G-Sotm-Oceania event, which will be held in Melbourne Australia in November (<a href="https://foss4g-oceania.org/" rel="noreferrer" target="_blank">https://foss4g-oceania.org/</a>).<br>

But speaking openly here, I wonder if having a venue in the Pacific Islands for next year's location of FOSS4G-Sotm-Oceania is possible. This would need to be discussed with the current organizers of FOSS4G-Sotm-Oceania of course. I bet they would be open to this idea!<br>

That is one idea that I had.<br>

But at the same time, I don't want to squash the initial momentum that we were creating for the first FOSS4G-Pacific Islands.<br>
