The MapFish community is proud to announce MapFish 1.2! This is a<br>
major release, with a number of great new features. Some of the<br>
highlights include:<br>
<br>
- server is based on Pylons 0.9.7, the current stable Pylons version<br>
- client comes with GeoExt, version 0.6, which just came out<br>
- MapFish Protocol now supports filtering on attributes<br>
- client plugin facilitating installing the JavaScript toolbox in the<br>
application<br>
- Python 2.6 support (Linux only)<br>
- super-easy installation procedure, working on Linux as well as on Windows<br>
- unit tests for the server<br>

In addition to the release, we're also very happy to announce the new<br>
web site and documentation for MapFish. Check out<br>
