academic,<BR>industry, software developers, open source communities, geospatial<BR>researchers etc. High profile speakers from all over the world will be<BR>giving presentations and hands on workshops for the conference. <BR><BR><BR><BR>The key aims of this conference are:<BR><BR><BR><BR>1. to hear presentations from government, academic, industry and policy<BR>makers on open source geospatial technologies <BR><BR>2. to provide platform to network and develop ideas for future<BR>collaborative work in open source GIS <BR><BR>3. to understand current developments in open source GIS<BR><BR>4. to act as a focus for open source GIS research and development<BR><BR><BR><BR>Contributions are invited but are not limited to the following topic<BR>areas:<BR><BR><BR><BR>o State of the Art developments in Open Source GIS <BR><BR>o Open Source GIS in Education <BR><BR>o Interoperability and standards - OGC, ISO/TC 211 <BR><BR>o Open Source GIS
