Caro Jorge<br><br>Tradicionalmente os sistemas de referenciação geográfica separam a componente planimétrica, referida a um elipsóide, da altimétrica, referida ao geóide (ou melhor, ao nível do mar num dado local). As transformações de coordenadas são feitas separadamente.<br>
<br>Os códigos EPSG que são exportados para a lista incluída no PROJ.4, que são os usados por muitas aplicações, são mesmo só 2D. Contudo, a base de dados EPSG (<a href="http://www.epsg.org/CurrentDB.html">http://www.epsg.org/CurrentDB.html</a>) também inclui sistemas altimétricos, mas separados dos sistemas planimétricos. Por exemplo o datum Cascais é o EPSG:5780 (<a href="http://spatialreference.org/ref/epsg/5780/" target="_blank">http://spatialreference.org/ref/epsg/5780/</a>).<br>
<br>Os sistemas de coordenadas cartesianas terrestres é que são de facto 3D, como é o caso do WGS84 (EPSG:4978) ou dos ITRF. Apesar de não fazerem parte da lista exportada para o PROJ, podem ser usados com a opção +proj=geocent, no comando cs2cs.<br>

system) , a maior parte dos sistemas usa 2D (x,y) eu estava a procura de<br>
um CRS que seja 1D, 3D, 4D ou mais?<br>
