2014</b>, The webinar will be open and free to all on first come register basis.</div><div> </div><div>This webinar will be on QGIS Academy, which an effort to establish a national GIS education infrastructure focusing on Free & Open Source Software for GIS (FOSS4G). The Academy is a consortium of two year community colleges and four year universities committed to bringing GIS technical education to students and educators worldwide. QGIS Academy are one of the many projects under the OSGeo "Geo for All" initiative. The Academy is now offering a new Workforce Certificate in Geospatial Technology based upon a series of five online courses, all based on QGIS software. This presentation will focus on the content, delivery, costs and purpose of this new online course offering.</div>
<div> </div><div>This event is suitable for secondary school educators and students, two and four year college educators and students, students in need of GIS skills, workers seeking to broaden technology skills and anyone desiring QGIS and open source knowledge and skills.</div>
