Systems or a related discipline and should have a strong interest in smart cities and/or in research areas related to smart cities (e.g. geographic information systems, sensors, location-based services, mobile and ubiquitous computing, crowd sourcing, technology
adoption by citizens). Excellent technical skills are a prerequisite for applying, and previous experience in programming is also essential. Prior experience in working in a large-scale international project, including managerial aspects, would be desirable.
Similarly, past work with open source software and familiarity with the underlying licenses, methods and tools would be of high value for the advertised position.
