<div>This is a general email send to you on behalf of the <em>Master Programme Geomatics for the Built Environment</em> at <em>Delft University of Technology</em>. We are also looking for more universities to collaborate with: You’re welcome to submit relevant information on your BSc, MSc or post-master programmes to us.</div>
<div><em>Geomatics for the Built Environment</em> is a full-time 2-year Master Programme at Delft University of Technology, Delft, The Netherlands. The programme covers courses including Sensing Technologies, GIS, Cartography, Positioning & Location Awareness, 3D Modelling, Spatial Decision Support and several courses in Geo Database management. <em><u>Geomatics is looking for new (international) students with a BSc or MSc degree to take the full programme or for Studying Abroad.</u></em> Students with a variety of backgrounds can apply for Geomatics at TU Delft as long as the entry requirements are met. We are aiming on students in the fields of Computer Science, (Geo-)Informatics, Geography, Geodesy & Earth Sciences, Environmental Management, Surveying, Civil Engineering and Urban Design & Spatial Planning. Several other fields not listed here are welcome as well.</div>
<div>We have selected You, your Faculty or Programme as your courses or topics are closely related to the field of Geomatics for the Built Environment. Please provide updated information if we should have contacted a colleague of yours instead! <div><strong>The Geomatics Programme at TU Delft</strong></div>
<div>Geomatics is an innovative and rapidly developing field. High-quality, accurate and reliable 3D-representations of our built environment are essential for modelling performance and other computational contests. Big data offers new challenges for urging academic, commercial and societal issues. Applications like Internet of Things to sensor the built environment and to monitor devices and valuable equipment both inside facilities and/or within the public domain result in huge data challenges. Autonomous cars and drones require integration of sensors and accurate and real-time environmental data. Geomatics at TU Delft covers all aspects from sensoring to storage, from data quality to privacy and from analysis and visualisation to application. The programme at the Faculty of Architecture and the Built Environment of TU Delft differs from other Geomatics programmes in The Netherlands in its broad and interdisciplinary nature and technical depth.</div>
