[postgis-devel] PostGIS JDBC jar file

Hello,

Some days ago, I checked a Makefile change into 1.1CVS tree that was
sent to me by Devrim Gunduz. It changes the file names of the generated
jar files from postgis_1_1_0PRE-CVS.jar to postgis_1.1.0PRE-CVS.jar.

I thought this is a sane change, because it is a common convention to
separate version numbers by a '.', but now one of our techies noticed
that this broke his packaging scripts.

What do all you packagers out there think about it? Will this break your
windows installer, rpm, deb or whatever builds?

Do you agree with the change or should it be reverted?
