[postgis-devel] CVS to SVN move

Hi, Paul,

Some weeks ago, there was a discussion on the PostGIS devel list about
moving from CVS to SVN.

What's the current state of decision on this issue?

And what do you think about the possible separation of the jdbc code
into its own project?

I'd like to convert the PostGIS jdbc build system to ant, but IMHO this
will make more sense when it's in its own project. Also, it would allow
bug fixes to be released independently.

Due to the new PLJava release, I have some wild ideas about implementing
PLJava support for PostGIS based on JTS. This would allow PostGIS users
to enjoy the full power of JTS. (Due to the lack of a proj port to Java,
it's not yet be possible to implement PostGIS completely in java,
however.) What do you think about that?

Thanks,
Markus
