I see what you mean. I guess I was thinking the cases where SRID is not mentioned but we have
4326 (I suppose we would just link the number, so you are right it is not as invasive in thought as I was thinking)
 I'm all for that then - but as you said no xref allowed in preformatted blocks? :(
