[postgis-devel] mingw autotools

Winguys and wingals,

Trying to follow the generic build instructions on the Wiki, I've
found that I simply cannot use the mingw/msys autotools to generate a
GEOS configure file. If I generate one on OSX and copy it over I can
build GEOS, but the mingw tools create a configure which then fails to
detect int64 (and god knows what else) which leads to various
failures.

I can hack around this limitation as I always have, but I'm wondering
if there's some unwritten magic you've got going on. I used the
instructions, but I got no love.
