[postgis-devel] EWKT/EWKB from JDBC

Hi list,

I'm the developer of Hibernate Spatial which of course supports Postgis. Today I came across some puzzling behavior of Postgis.

When running a test that does a query and retrieves the results from JDBC, I receive in my IDE EWKB strings as values of the PGobject, but if I run the tests from the build tool I receive EWKT's. What controls whether it's EWKT or EWKB? 

I'm using currently Postgis 1.5.3 on Postgresql 9.1.7.
