Hi Devrim -

when I build and install from source, and I want the EXTENSION
mechanism, I explicitly cd to /extensions/ then
make; sudo make install

there is something mentioned about that in /extensions/README/

best regards from San Francisco, California

Hi,

I have a packaging issue that I need your help to solve.

On RHEL 6, make install does not install postgis.control and
postgis-*.sql files related to psotgis.control. That is breaking the
packages badly.

When I tried to run make under extensions/postgis directory, I'm getting
this:

-bash-4.1$ make
make: *** No rule to make target `../../raster/rt_pg/rtpostgis.sql',
needed by `sql_bits/rtpostgis.sql'. Stop.

Do we really need rtpostgis.sql for postgis.control?

Regards,
