[postgis-devel] PostGIS 2.4.0 Beta 1 this weekend

Stephen,

Thanks for the update. Most of the things on Paul's list are not trivial
changes so if he hasn't started working on them already and doesn't plan to
for another 6 days
I'm not confident they'll be ready even if I gave him another week.

But that does make me breathe a little easier that we have 1 week more than
I thought.

Thanks,
Regina

Regina,

The schedule has actually been published now:

https://postgr.es/m/26618.1503689851@sss.pgh.pa.us

With the timing between rc1 and release being 2 weeks, meaning v10 release
on September 28th. Not sure how much that changes things here but figured
I'd mention it.

Thanks!

Stephen

time, I can wait till after labor day, and you can push them back to 2.4 but
if not, I'd just assume you wait till PostGIS 2.5 than us miss 2 years worth
of work having to wait another year and having to patch up PostGIS 2.4 to
work with PostgreSQL 11 (which it already doesn't).

on, on the understanding that I'd work them out over the two weeks following
labour day, and that they'd go into 2.4. What's the big hurry here?
