Duly noted.  Like I said this is not even a feature freeze.  Just to get our balls rolling and some pressure to test/patch up stuff we've got in place already.

+1 here, but note I'm planning to fix a couple of bugs before we go final:

 - st_curvetoline hangs forever
   https://trac.osgeo.org/postgis/ticket/4058

 - [regression] ST_CurveToLine and ST_LineToCurve are not symmetric
