<div>Hello everyone,<br>
<br></div>
Some people asked for specific versions of languages that PostGIS
need to be translated to, for example French (fr_FR) and Spanish
(es_MX).<br>
<br></div>
I've denied both requests, since that we already have french and
spanish languages added to the languages list. I understand that
spanish spoken in Mexico is different from the spanish spoken in
Spain, and if that is a huge problem we can create that language
again.<br>
<br></div>
Should those requests be denied, since we are adding a lot more
work, without the necessary work force? I mean, those who speak
french or spanish, should help with the general translation, before
we add another, let's say, dialect? That because a lot of the work
done on the spanish (Spain) will be used for the spanish
(Mexico)?<br>
<br></div>
I was thinking to make an announcement on transifex regarding those
rules.<br></div>
<br>
What do you guys think about that?<br clear="all">
