How would you like "dev" for the main development branch ?  It'd be:<br>
  - 1 letter shorter than "main"<br>
  - 3 letters shorter than "master"<br>
  - very cool ! 😎<br>
  - clear<br>
  - uncrowded, so nobody feels the need to run the other way<br>
