 okay now I remember you said you were running this on an osgeo server
 osgeo6?  So probably wasn't running on debbie and I was just seeing an
 attempt.

 But I did try to start doing it on new debbie, and when it was running the

 make init

 It errored out with:

 Which is really odd as I was expecting martin's name to come up
