[postgis-users] Newbie: Windows Install Help

Boy, I was lazy, thanks for the reminder to check the docs.  This
requirement is described in the postgresql source C:
\cygwin\usr\src\postgresql-7.2.1-1\docFAQ_MSWIN document.  For the record I
got the cygipc stuff from:
http://www.neuro.gatech.edu/users/cwilson/cygutils/cygipc/index.html

I think you need the cyg-ipc package to get the gcc -O2 to work in
./configure, and you'll need it to run postgreSQL in cygwin as well. This
is described in the CYGWIN readme in the postgres sources.
