Hi David,

Thanks for your links on this. It's really just a personal preference to
keep things in a separate environment as I hate clogging up the Windows
PATH variable as so many programs try to do. I had thought about running
PostgreSQL as a service but thought that if there are still some bugs
then it would be harder to detect if the postmaster had unexpectedly
terminated. I shall definitely consider this as an option later though!
