[postgis-users] PostGIS South Africa

I thought of starting off with a couple of howto's in the sections part
of the site, especially postgis compilation howtos, setups on different
platforms and getting started docs. Same goes for PHP and Mapserver. I
would REALLY like the forums to be active, as I think this is possibly
the best way of getting help fast.

I would also like to start a function reference for PostGIS with
examples where possible that even a "out-of-the-box" user can understand
and use with as little effort as possible.

If you can think of anything you would like to see on the site, please
let me know. As I said before this thing is in its infancy, and I would
like to see it grow. I have not been able to easily find such a site
yet, and it seems like a valuable resource for developers and users alike!
