[postgis-users] error in installation

hello

When I tried to install postgis. I encountered this error:

# ./configure --enable-autoconf
Using autoconf
checking for proj... /usr/bin/proj
configure: error:  Can't find (configured) PGSQL sources.


I had installed postgresql as debian package.

Could you possiblly tell me how I could overcome this problem?
