when i uses

SELECT id, AsText(geom) AS geom, name FROM ROADS_GEOM;

 command i get return value in

1 | LINESTRING(191232 243118,191108 243242) | Jeff Rd

this format but what i is to store only following value

191232 243118,191108 243242

is there way make querry for this.?


also does gis usee XY or LAT/LONG coordinate system?
