[postgis-users] Multipart to Single part convert

Dear List,

May someone can share experience, I have a table of road inventory but they
are multilinestring (multi-part), I developed function inform coordinate
from KM stone.

It need linestring, so I need to convert multipart data to single part
(linestring).

At this moment I asked my friend convert multipart shape file to single part
on ArcGIS before import to postgis. But in near future I must do this again.
So better do by postgis but I have no idea.
