Yes, checking full version shows that I have Geos and Proj.

Thanks Leo!

It's included in stack builder. So you should be fine.

SELECT postgis_full_version();

Will tell you which version of each you are running.

Subject: [postgis-users] Question on new PostGIS installation

I am brand-new to PostGIS and PostGre. I have just installed PostGre
9.1, and installed PostGIS 1.5.3 with the PostGre install (the PostGre
install prompted me if I wanted to download and install it, and I
checked it).

Now I see on the PostGIS web page, it says to install Proj4 and GEOS 3.2
before installing PostGIS. Were these included with the install that I
did? Is there any way I can find out? If not, do I need to uninstall
PostGIS, install Proj and GEOS, and reinstall PostGIS?
