[postgis-users] DE-9IM pattern for gaps

How about the following situations?

Scenario 1
2 lines zigzagging over the space. Some time, a line crosses over another
and then crosses again to return. Can DE-9IM tell with a pattern?

Scenario 2.
2 lines zigzagging over the space. Some time, they meet and touch each
other, but never cross each other. There may be gaps between them.
Will there be any DE-9IM for this situation?

Regards,

David
