I wanted to update the error message from my last post. I tried the same command <br>

  ogr2ogr -f "PostgreSQL" PG:dbname=mingle04 TGR08021.RT1<br>
<br>
on a clean database (new db with just postgis.sql and
spatial_ref_sys.sql scripts run) and got a slightly different error message:<br>
<br>
ERROR 3: Failed to read record 500 of TGR08021.RT5<br>
ERROR 3: Failed to read record 2322 of TGR08021.RTS<br>
ERROR 3: Failed to read record 38 of TGR08021.RTC<br>
ERROR 3: Failed to read record 7088 of TGR08021.RTI<br>
ERROR 3: Failed to read record 0 of TGR08021.RTR<br>
