My guess is you should take a two step approach here, something like:<br>

select count(*) FROM shey6 WHERE shey6_id in (SELECT shey6_id FROM
shey6 as a,sel10p4 as b WHERE contains(a.wkb_geometry,b.wkb_geometry)
='t')<br>
