How about the book, "<a href="http://www.manning.com/obe/">PostGIS in Action</a>" ? There is even a free chapter that might give you enough info to get started. There is also the <a href="http://trac.osgeo.org/postgis/wiki/UsersWikiMain">Wiki</a>.<br>
