<DIV>I have been searching for a way to join raster values to polygons.</DIV>
<DIV>In my case there is only one raster value within each polygon, and I would
like this value to be joined into a column in the polygon table.</DIV>
<DIV>The process would in other GIS programs probably look like this:</DIV>

<DIV>Raster Data -> Point Features -> Spatial Join to Polygons (with
raster value as new column for each polygon).</DIV>
