<font size=2 face="sans-serif">Hi All</font><br><br><font size=2 face="sans-serif">I'm attempting to copy a PostGIS database
from a 9.0.4 Postgres (PostGIS 1.5.2) Server to a 9.1.4 Postgres
(PostGIS 2.0.0) Server on a different machine. Is this even possible? I've
been trying this via a backup restore or running a backup plain sql file
on the new server database but keep running into errors. I've tried doing
this after running the legacy.sql file as per instructions here (</font><a href="http://postgis.refractions.net/documentation/manual-svn/postgis_installation.html#hard_upgrade"><font size=2 color=blue face="sans-serif">http://postgis.refractions.net/documentation/manual-svn/postgis_installation.html#hard_upgrade</font></a><font size=2 face="sans-serif">)
to no avail. I've also moved my data to a different schema as per Paul
Ramsey's suggestion <</font><a href="http://blog.cleverelephant.ca/2010/09/postgis-back-up-restore.html"><font size=2 color=blue face="sans-serif">http://blog.cleverelephant.ca/2010/09/postgis-back-up-restore.html</font></a><font size=2 face="sans-serif">>.</font><br><font size=2 face="sans-serif">Any suggestions on how best to do this
if it is possible? Or is this a case of 1.5.2 not being compatible with
2.0.0?</font><br><br><font size=2 face="sans-serif">Cheers</font><br><br><font size=2 face="sans-serif">Adrian</font><br><BR>
