I need to migrate a database
from:

PostgreSQL 8.2.14
POSTGIS="1.3.1" GEOS="2.2.3-CAPI-1.1.1" PROJ="Rel. 4.5.0, 22 Oct 2006" USE_STATS
Postgresql 9.2.x
POSTGIS 2.0.x
Will using pg_dump to dump just the tables I need in plain text format, then load them into a new database with the postgis extension work? or will I run into problems doing this?

Thanks,
