It's best to look at the exact input causing the problem.</div><div><br></div><div>On a side note, I did notice that when the polygons were merged (using JTS, which works fine), there is only one very small hole in the result [1]. It seems to correspond to an island in the Duff River [2]. It seems unlikely that this is the source of the error, but maybe...
