<p dir="ltr">You should precise the srid corresponding to your data using the -s option. And connection information can also be useful (host, port and user name). It is optional but you could add a spatial index with the -I option. </p>
<p dir="ltr">Don't forget to give the path to the shapefile and its name without any extension. </p>
<p dir="ltr">ogr2ogr can be use instead of shp2pgsql. </p>
