<p>Ah, thanks Imre, that clears up the confusion. I am not to
familiar with apt and the release processes of Debian / Ubuntu
packages, but since everything else seemed fine, and 3.4.3 was
announced here in the PostGIS list and visible in the repo, I
falsely assumed that it should already be fully available for
Debian / Ubuntu, and that something might be wrong with my local
apt cache (although commands like 'apt list -a
postgresql-16-postgis-3' seemed to confirm the current situation,
and other apt commands reported no issues as well).</p>

<div>PostGIS 3.4.3 is not yet available on Debian, and it
hasn't been announced on the pgsql-pkg-debian mailing list [
<a href="https://www.postgresql.org/list/pgsql-pkg-debian/2024-09/" target="_blank">https://www.postgresql.org/list/pgsql-pkg-debian/2024-09/</a>
] either, where I can also see the details for
debian+ubuntu. </div>
<div><br>
</div>
<div>For example, the Postgis 3.4.2+dfsg-1.pgdg+1 update
announcement contains</div>
<div>information for both Debian (bookworm, bullseye,...) and
Ubuntu (noble, mantic, lunar, jammy, focal).</div>

</div>
<div>I'm expecting a similar announcement for PostGIS 3.4.3 as
well.<br>
</div>
<div><br>
</div>
<div>In other words, I monitor the "pgsql-pkg-debian" mailing
list, <br>
and I usually see the updated packages within an hour after
the email is sent.<br>
