<br>FYI there has been some discussion around what the next release version number should be. We are currently at 0.2.0-dev in trunk. Having said this, pushing up the release version would help in communicating that the codebase is:<br><br>(based on advice from #osgeo on irc as well)<br><br>- relatively stable (no major code rewrites from scratch)<br>- generally useful and stable<br>- doing what it's set out to do<br><br>I think there are enough features in trunk (http://pycsw.org/introduction.html#features) as well as passing the OGC CITE tests, to warrant a 1.0.0.<br><br>I propose to release the next version of pycsw as 1.0.0, with the following timeline<br><br>- 20 June 2011: 1.0.0-beta1<br>- 24 June 2011: 1.0.0-rc1<br>- 29 June 2011: 1.0.0 final<br><br>What do folks think?
