[Qgis-community-team] coordination with release-team efforts

Hi, 

there just was a release-team meeting at IRC and we discussed that it would be
very useful to coordinate (many of) our tasks with them. Here are some examples
that would make our lives easier.

a) For the new web page we should try to make it as simple as possible to update
and maintain the content for new releases. Maning Sambale will do the updates at
qgis web for every new release and should coordinate this with Stephan. 
b) Werner could coordinate the translation deadlines with the release team. 
c) Tara could coordinate the integration of current manual versions into new
releases. 
d) Sascha could coordinate release announcement and its translations with the
release team.

So I would like to encourage the community team to subcribe to the
qgis-release-team list as well and coordinate your work with them at certain
points. It can save us a lot of work and time and the release-team list is a low
traffic list. :-)
