Some of the vector data include different attribute values e.g.:

lakes: name (varchar), area (real)
airports: name (varchar), use (varchar), elevation (integer), ...
majrivers: name (varchar), length (real)
...

but we could extend this, of course! What do you have in mind for a nice usage
example?

A sample project is a good idea, too. We still collect data sources (incl.
WMS/WFS) here: http://wiki.qgis.org/qgiswiki/ManualManagement but it would be
nice to have more formats...
