I vaguely remember we did.  But since the laptops are owned by the
participants.  I can't really tell each of the unit's config.  Will
post again (or file a ticket) if this problem persist.

I understand.
Perhaps the the Field Calculator Expression text box can be made smaller?
IMO, the text box consumes too much GUI realty.  Reducing the textbox
by 2 or 3 lines can make the  "OK" and "Apply" button appear in the
10.5 screen.
