[Qgis-community-team] RE: an occasional message is blank in the mailing list digests

Hi everyone.
(I'm not sure if this is the best place to ask - perhaps someone else at
osgeo is in charge of the mailing lists).

I read the user and dev lists in "digest" mode. Sometimes there are
messages which appear to have no body (for example the one below), but
it seems that the authors don't realise this.
I'm wondering: is the body of these messages visible to people who don't
read the list in "digest" mode?

These messages actually do have a body which is visible on nabble (In
this case at
http://osgeo-org.1803224.n2.nabble.com/Joining-tables-and-spatial-data-t
d7025252.html - scroll down).
I'm guessing the problem is that these messages are sent as html only,
or something like that.

Perhaps it is this problem:
http://mail.python.org/pipermail/mailman-users/2008-May/061691.html
(The link to the solution is supposed to go to
http://wiki.list.org/pages/viewpage.action?pageId=4030701)

Does anybody here control the mailing lists?

Thanks,
Alister
