Hi all.
I noticed there are two places where guidelines are listed:

https://github.com/qgis/QGIS-Documentation/tree/master/source/docs/documentation_guidelines

https://github.com/qgis/QGIS-Documentation/blob/master/source/docs/user_manual/preamble/conventions.rst

Wouldn't it be better to unify them?
All the best.

My name is Alexandros Dourtmes and I am a forest engineer from
Thessaloniki, Greece. I've been assigned to prepare lectures for Forest
Cadastre mapping using QGIS software and I was wondering if there's already
some kind of manual to assist me in doing so. I already have a manual for
Forest mapping, but it's with the ArcMap software. Any help is welcome, I
would be most grateful! Thank you for your time and interest.

Best regards
Alexandros Dourtmes
Got it, thanks.
However, I do not find in the Documentation guidelines some useful info,
e.g. how to add a checkbox, radiobutton etc.
Am I wrong?
All the best.
Hi Alexandros,

Eduardo Gonzalez created a forestry for the training manual, see:

http://docs.qgis.org/2.6/en/docs/training_manual/forestry/index.html
http://docs.qgis.org/testing/en/docs/training_manual/forestry/index.html

I hope it is usefull, please update if needed.

Regards,
For me both are a little bit different. conventions is read by the user to
understand the text (so it should be in the documentation),
documentation_guidelins aims to be read by documentors, ie which tags should
be used for writing the documentation (so it should be located in the source,
not in the final documentation).
