[Qgis-developer] QGIS review on linux.com

Folks,

I encountered an article about QGIS yesterday on linux.com [1]. Although
the author has some points, he is quite wrong in some of his comments. E.g.:

- "newly imported shapefiles need to be exported by QGIS to shapefiles
again and then added to the map again in order for them to be editable"

- "MrSID raster files cannot be imported"

Could a QGIS dev contact him and ask to straighten some claims to make
the article closer to reality?

BTW I learned there are Slackware QGIS packages available at [2]. Maybe
worth mentioning on the download page?
