[Qgis-developer] GDAL/OGR C API Port

Hi Frank,

Many thanks for doing the C++ -> C-api port!
My suggestion is that we should wait one or two weeks to give developers the 
possibility to test.

describes the procedure for merging branches. It's also written that binary 
packages should be built to let non-developers test. Tim, is it possible for 
the release team to make binary builds or do you think that this would be 
overkill in this case?
