[Qgis-developer] QGIS 1.0 Feature Freeze Begins

User perspective, so take with a grain of salt.

I think the rc or beta approach for FOSS4G2008 is the right approach.  
Not really different than the 1.0 to 1.0.1 release schedule, but saves  
the hit that the qgis dev team will take for putting out a 1.0 that is  
quite buggy. A rc or beta can be buggy without tarnishing the quality  
of project.
