[Qgis-developer] New labels and composer timeline

Hi Everyone,

I was wondering if there is a timeline for getting the new labeling engine in the map composer. It is great to be able to improve labels in the canvas, but not being able to visualize and print them in a fully developed map from the composer is unfortunate.

I ask because I have some current projects with a near-term deadline. I will need to switch to something else for my map output if there is no expectation to deliver this anytime soon.
